August 14 will be remembered by many generations to come. It’s the day our Church stood firm in its faith and as meek as “a lamb before its shearer” against vicious attacks.
I was beside myself with rage hearing of churches in Egypt set ablaze and looted one after the other. Over forty churches were targeted in one day. What can I possibly do to stop this evil? While only God’s divine intervention can halt such escalating violence, I am reminded that we should come together in unity of heart and purpose to support our bleeding church.
Let’s overcome evil by doing more good, just as our Lord has commanded us.
